What’s in it for me?

Here are 10 reasons why you should consider becoming a Charity Link Fundraiser

Work in a variety of pre-booked, paid for venues

Charity Link benefits from a dedicated venues department who pre-book, pay for and confirm all venues – we don’t allow our Fundraisers just to turn up in the hope they will be allowed to work.

Competitive basic salary – £16,640 / annum

You will receive a competitive basic salary which will be paid weekly, £320 / week, 2 weeks in arrears.

Industry leading uncapped remuneration package - Realistic first year earnings £40k

By achieving your weekly donor target, you will receive a bonus in addition to your basic salary so you should expect to earn around £40,000 p/a; the majority of our fundraisers earn in excess of this.

Employed, salaried position – not self-employed

As a Fundraiser you will be employed with a contract of employment. You will also benefit from 28 days paid holiday a year (Basic salary rate only and including 8 Bank Holiday days.)

Contribution to car travel expenses

Up to £100 / week will be paid by way of a contribution towards your ‘going to work costs’ to include miles travelled, parking, tolls etc.

Part time opportunities available (3 or 4 days / week)

We are always looking for candidates who can work 3 or 4 days / week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Weekly salary and target pro rata according to number of days worked.

Be part of a supportive and motivated team

With eight sales teams across the country each led by a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager, you will be supported by Team Leaders and Senior Fundraisers. Mostly, you will work in 2 person venues so you will always have a colleague’s support.

First class training and development

We want you to succeed so we invest heavily in your training and support whether that be when you first join and attend the residential induction and training course or the ongoing in-field training and mentoring.

Accommodation paid for if staying away

We ask our Fundraisers to travel up to 75 miles to a venue but if you are required to travel further we will book and pay for overnight accommodation to reduce the cost of, and amount of time you spend, travelling.

Uniform, quality equipment and point of sale material provided

You will be provided with a uniform branded to the Charity you represent together with a branded stand, banner and point of sale material. For town and shopping centre venues, our van masters with their branded vans will provide gazebos and other equipment.
